Robert Langley, Head Teacher of King George School In Toronto wants schools to become mobile phone free zones after an incident at his secondary school. "A student used his mobile phone to film part of a lesson in which several students fell asleep."

"We also have students who text their friends and family during lessons or even play games. I have no problem with mobile phones but people need to use them in a sensible way. From now on, the school will have a new policy. If we see a student with a mobile during school hours, we will take the phone away."
